Tyler B Jordan, originally from Brandon, Manitoba, has studied and worked in many facets of the art & design world including graphic design, photography, interactive design and most recently animation. His short films and artwork have been viewed at festivals throughout North America and his commercial work has been broadcast nationally.
It has been suggested that the longer it takes to decipher a subject, the longer a person will remember it. Adopting this theory, Tyler’s artistic practice uses collage, traditional and digital technologies to abstract the overlooked elements and subjects of life, challenging the viewer to slow down for a moment, take a second look, and see the beauty in the “working parts” of our ever evolving environments.
